Welcome to Complete PC’s Melbourne IT Support Diary. We offer IT Support for small businesses all over Melbourne and going forward we plan to share a diary of what types of jobs we have been doing to give everyone a better idea of what we actually do! Here’s a quick summary of some of the support jobs we did last week.

Monday 20th October:  One of our On-demand IT Support clients is a builder in Ringwood. They were in the process of upgrading their desktop computers and needed help migrating their data from the old computers to the new ones as well as getting all the latest versions of the software they required installed and ready to go. Our work included setup and configuration of 3 new HP ProDesk 600 G1 Desktops. We installed SAP, MYOB and Office 2013 and then migrated all their important data from old Desktop.

Tuesday 21st October: Another On-Demand IT Support client of ours is an Architect in Brighton. They were having problems with their internet. It turns out their router was faulty so we replaced existing Modem/Router, with new Netcomm Modem/Router and now they are back in business!

Thursday 23rd October: Installed Winbeat update for Insurance Broker in Doncaster. WinBeat is Australia’s most popular broking system. We are the administrators for many of our managed IT service customers, so we install programs and updates to prevent staff from installing anything illegal or unsafe to ensure the computers and networks are kept safe.
